At preseason camp, scholarship freshman Eli Marsh is struck down by a rare, severe blood disorder. But when he collapses, his athletic trainer girlfriend Sloane Holt dismisses it as a bid for attention, after Colt—her manipulative childhood friend—feeds her the wrong idea. Acting on that lie, she traps Eli inside a blazing metal shed, never realizing his life is truly in danger. As his spirit watches Colt conceal the proof and Sloane ignore the warnings under the door, the truth comes too late. When police finally force the shed open, a devastating revelation is exposed, and those responsible face unrelenting payback.
