He Chose Her While I Was in Labor

When Sophie goes into labor too early, every minute counts. But Ryan keeps stalling for Vanessa, who is busy with her hair, makeup, and nails, even as nurses warn that both mother and baby could die. Heartbroken and out of options, Sophie calls her ex Julian and asks him to stand in as her baby’s father. Julian rushes over, signs the emergency surgery papers, and stays by her side through the birth. After waking, Sophie walks away from Ryan and chooses Julian instead. They marry, baby Peanut is embraced by the Whitmore family, Ryan’s company falls apart, and Vanessa’s cruelty is exposed online.
